From the car park the Natte Neuzen walking route starts, where dogs may also run off the lead on the path outside the fenced part. On the Veluwe, Staatsbosbeheer, the Dutch state forestry service, allows dogs off the lead in a number of areas, but only under recall: the dog stays on the path, close to its owner, and responds immediately to commands.
