Recreatiepark De Paalberg lies in the middle of the Veluwe woods near Ermelo and is the only Royal Recreation Park in the Netherlands, with two swimming pools, a treetop climbing course and a car-free, family-friendly site. The website clearly states its dog policy: maximum 2 pets per pitch/accommodation, always on a leash, not allowed on fields W (pitches 1-15) and D (pitches 33-37a). For dogs on camping pitches, a surcharge of €4.35 per night applies for the first dog and €2.75 for a second dog.
