Off-leash area officially designated by the municipality of Leeuwarden ('Rengerslaan'). In the Rengerspark, a nineteenth-century city park designed by H. Copijn (1906), there's a fenced play area for dogs with play equipment. The entrance is marked by two bronze statues of a stabyhoun and a wetterhoun, two typically Frisian dog breeds.
