Second off-leash area officially designated by the municipality of Leeuwarden in De Groene Ster (listed as 'Groene Ster nabij Woelwijk', dog beach and woodland, in the municipal designation decision). Located on the west side of the recreation area, close to the Camminghaburen residential neighbourhood, with a small swimming beach for dogs and poop bins. Marked with posts.
