Off-leash area in Rembrandtpark, with one part that is only off-leash in winter and a fenced picnic strip that is not part of it.

On Amsterdam's official dog map, part of Rembrandtpark is shown as an off-leash area all year round. Another part of the park is a 'leash zone' from 1 May up to and including 31 October, and is only an off-leash area from 1 November up to and including 30 April. For a third, separately designated off-leash part (Decision VN2020-004893, spot 15), the municipality explicitly states that the fenced picnic strip is not part of it. Outside the off-leash areas, a dog must be on a leash in Amsterdam.
