Large, free city woodland between Amsterdam and Amstelveen. Dogs can run off-leash in many spots (with a dog map), and there are dog playgrounds and a dog beach.
The Amsterdamse Bos is a popular dog destination: an extensive free park with walking paths, a dog beach and several dog playgrounds. In most spots, dogs can run off-leash as long as they remain under voice control; in busy areas and special nature reserves, a leash is required or access is prohibited, as shown on the official dog map. Maximum 3 dogs per visitor.
