The Mensingebos near Roden is a 175-hectare wooded area with varied terrain (heath, forest tracks and clearings) and a large pond for swimming. Dogs may run off-leash across almost the whole area, except where Scottish Highland cattle graze (clearly marked with signs). Free parking is available near Cuisinerie Mensinge or at the car park on the Hullenweg.
