Wassenaar beach with a stretch where dogs are always welcome, even in summer; everywhere outside summer.

According to the municipality of Wassenaar, in summer (15 May to 15 September): between beach markers 92.50 and 92.25, dogs are always prohibited. From marker 92.25 towards Katwijk and from marker 92.50 towards Scheveningen, dogs are always welcome on the beach. If you want to visit a beach pavilion with your dog, keep it on a leash, walk straight to the restaurant and walk behind the restaurants. Outside summer you can go anywhere on the beach with your dog and no rules apply. Picking up dog waste is always mandatory; otherwise you can be fined.
