Official dog beach of Noordwijk, all year, from beach access 1 southwards to the Katwijk border.

According to the municipality of Noordwijk, the beach from access 1 ("afrit 1") southwards to the border with the municipality of Katwijk is a dog beach: dogs do not have to be on a leash there, but you must pick up after your dog. In high season (1 June to 31 August) dogs are not allowed on the beach in front of both boulevards, between access 1 and access 21. In low season (1 September to 31 May) dogs are welcome and off the leash on the whole beach, except at Noordvoort (north of the Langevelderslag), where a leash is required all year round.
