Losloopgebied Zuiderpark

About this place

Official off-leash area in Zuiderpark (Charlois), which also has a small dog-swimming spot within the park.

Rotterdam's official dog map designates part of Zuiderpark, along the Zuiderparkpromenade-West, as an off-leash area: the "Honden Losloop gebied" type, without the separate clean-up-duty note the map gives for some other zones. In Rotterdam dogs must be on a leash everywhere except in off-leash zones; whoever walks the dog must pick up its waste immediately. Within Zuiderpark, the map also shows a small dog-swimming spot, near the Pendrechtpad.
