Losloopgebied Sellingerbossen (Westerwolde)

Large off-leash area for dogs in the extensive Westerwolde nature reserve (2,300 hectares), near Sellingen.

In the wooded Westerwolde nature reserve (southeast Groningen province, between Stadskanaal and the German border), an extensive zone between the Jipsingboertangerweg and the Zevenmeersveenweg, plus surrounding woods near Jipsingboertange, is designated as an off-leash area. There's a marked 4.3 km walking route with white posts where dogs may run off-leash throughout, and small ponds for swimming.
