Starting point for a 7 km dog walk (about 1h30) through heath, bog and forest in the Hoge Venen, along wooden boardwalks.

La Baraque Michel is a well-known starting point for walks in the Parc naturel Hautes Fagnes-Eifel (Hoge Venen), at an altitude of 674 metres. From here a 7 km route (about 1h30) leads through heath, bog and forest and along wooden boardwalks. Dogs may come along, on a leash — as in the rest of the park, the core area 'la Réserve Naturelle' is off-limits to dogs, even on a leash (fine of 150 euro). Free parking.
